Stalin isn’t quite so worshipped in Russia today as the US press would have you believe. Here’s proof: Putin states in a speech (on human rights, naturally) that in attacking South Ossetia, the Georgians were decided to solve their problems by applying the “Stalinist principle, well-known at least to us in this country, that ‘if there’s a person, there’s a problem; if there’s no person, there’s no problem.’”
